Bryce Weiner launched the $DAD token on Solana on 28th July 2025.
Bryce is a longstanding developer and personality in the crypto community, known for launching hundreds of altcoins.
In a series of live streams posted on X, he also outed himself as Satoshi Nakamoto, the original Bitcoin developer.
Since July, Bryce has appeared in a couple more interviews and an X space which you can watch and listen to here.
The original reveal streams which were a part of the launch of StoriesDotFun, document an amazing tale which Bryce has spoken of before in previous years. The story is being released in parts over time which can be read on StoriesDotFun by paying a small fee, but it has been documented previously on Bryce’s own X account and covered by media when it blew up in 2021.
$DAD as a token, symbolically reflects the story of Bryce taking the law into his own hands in 2013 when he rescued his daughter from Mexico after she disappeared from his home in California aged 14, in an apparent kidnapping. The clincher of the story which adds to its compelling nature is the timing of his mission to rescue her starting around the time Satoshi disappeared in 2011. In the live streams, Bryce does correlate the two and openly admits to coming up with the name Satoshi Nakamoto when working with Hal Finney on the original design. He also claims to have written the original Bitcoin whitepaper.

$DAD is available to trade on many Solana DEX platforms including Jupiter and Ave.ai. Bryce plans utility around the token and marketing along with an auction to fund the potential data retrieval from the original Satoshi PC.
